Cleopatra's milk bath

This bath is one of my favorites for deeply nourishing the skin (and spirit). Cleopatra was rumored to bathe in donkey milk, and legend says she required 700 lactating donkeys to supply the milk for her daily bathing ritual.

I don't require 700 lactating donkeys, but I do love this soul supporting bath. And don't worry...cow's milk will do!

This recipe is simply a guide. Feel free to let your intuition direct your experience, and let me know how you like it!

Cleopatra's milk bath

2 cups of organic milk
Β½ cup of honey
5-10 drops of essential oil (rose geranium, rose, lavender, chamomile, or jasmine are my favorites)
A handful of rose petals (optional)

Light a candle and set an intention for your bath. If you wish, turn on some nice music. You could also call in your spirit guides for love and support.

Fill up your hot bath, and pour in the milk and honey under running water. Toss in the rose petals.

Soak as long as you like, ideally 20 minutes.
